Ares — setup & guide

Install, activate and run Ares for Counter-Strike 2, with troubleshooting and FAQ. View the product →

Overview

Ares is our complete Counter-Strike 2 aimbot and the deepest of our three CS2 builds: a visibility-checked aimbot, deep box-and-skeleton ESP, a teammate-scoped triggerbot, recoil control, plus round tools like radar, a bomb timer and bunny hop. It runs as an external overlay that draws through your GPU's game overlay, so first-time setup is a couple of minutes. This guide is usage-level only; your loader download and license key live in your account.

Before you start

  • Windows 10 or 11 with the Steam copy of Counter-Strike 2 installed and updated.
  • Run CS2 in windowed borderless on your primary monitor. The overlay draws to monitor 1, so ignore any second display during a session.
  • You need a GPU game overlay switched on: NVIDIA (GeForce Experience / NVIDIA App) or AMD (AMD Software: Adrenalin). The loader tells you if it's disabled.
  • An active Ares subscription and your license key, both in your account after purchase.
New to cheats? Read Before You Use Any Cheat first. It covers ban risk and the habits that keep an account alive. Ares is tuned for Valve matchmaking and Premier; it's an external overlay and is not for Faceit, whose kernel-level anti-cheat is a far harsher environment. Keep the FOV tight and settings subtle in populated lobbies; blatant play draws Overwatch reports.

Install & activate

  1. Run the loader as administrator. Download it from your account, then right-click and choose Run as administrator.
  2. Paste your key with a right-click. Ctrl+V doesn't work in this loader, so right-click to paste the serial key, then confirm.
  3. Let the files download. A download window opens; don't close it (it finishes and closes itself).
  4. Launch Counter-Strike 2 in windowed borderless. Start it from Steam once the loader is ready.
  5. The menu appears in-game. Play in until your character is on screen, then press Home to open or close it.

Using the menu

Press Home in-game to show or hide the menu, and click options with your mouse to toggle them. The Ares menu is mouse-driven. Your settings save between sessions, so dial a config in once.

  • Aimbot: run it on-hold, bound to a mouse button you already press, and keep the visibility check on so it never yanks through a Mirage wall onto someone you can't shoot. Pull the FOV radius in tight, pick one bone (head for one-taps, or closest for the free chest), then raise the smooth factor and add a little switch delay so the lock doesn't strobe between two players in a single tick. Use dynamic FOV to keep the AR window small and open it up for the AWP.
  • Triggerbot & recoil: keep it teammate-scoped so it holds fire through your own players on a retake, turn on fast swap, and set a small delay-first-shot so it doesn't fire the instant a model flickers past a doorway. Recoil control and the no-spread-style laser keep an AK spray flat past the fourth bullet instead of climbing.
  • ESP: boxes or corners with health and armor bars, a skeleton, and the main and side weapon, so you know whether the player holding Inferno banana is on an AWP or a Deagle before you commit; snap lines and dropped items help you read a post-plant.
  • Round tools: radar on a hold-tab key or always on, a bomb timer counting down the defuse window for post-plant maths, bunny hop for executes, and the Map Ray Tracer with a map selector.

Troubleshooting

  • Menu won't open with Home: confirm your GPU overlay (NVIDIA or AMD) is enabled, CS2 is in windowed borderless on monitor 1, and you're actually in a round with your character on screen.
  • Loader says the overlay is disabled: switch on the in-game/game overlay in GeForce Experience (or the NVIDIA App) or AMD Software, then run the loader again.
  • Key won't paste: use a right-click to paste, not Ctrl+V.
  • Nothing draws on a second screen: the overlay renders to monitor 1 only. Move CS2 to your primary display.
  • Crashes or a risky build: update CS2 and your GPU drivers, and check Ares shows Undetected on the status page. It's pulled offline while a patch is being cleared.
Honest bit: no cheat is unbannable. We list Ares only while it's confirmed undetected against VAC and pull it the day a patch makes it risky. VAC and Overwatch are always watching, so a tight FOV and the visibility check protect your account more than any promise. Still stuck? Open a ticket in Discord.

FAQ

Which key opens the Ares menu?
Home in-game shows or hides it, and you click options with your mouse. CS2 has to be in windowed borderless on your primary monitor for the overlay to draw.
Why do I need a GPU overlay?
Ares is an external overlay. It renders through NVIDIA's or AMD's game overlay. Turn on the in-game overlay in GeForce Experience / the NVIDIA App or AMD Software before you run the loader; it will warn you if it's off.
Can I use Ares on Faceit or ESEA?
No. Ares is built for Valve matchmaking and Premier. Faceit and ESEA run kernel-level anti-cheat that sits far deeper than VAC, and this external build isn't for them.
How do I make the aimbot look legit?
Bind the aim key to a mouse button you hold, pull the FOV in tight, stick to one bone, and raise the smooth factor and switch delay so the lock never snaps between players. Leave the visibility check on and give the triggerbot a small first-shot delay.
Is Ares undetected?
It's sold only while confirmed undetected against VAC and comes off sale the moment a patch puts it at risk. The status page shows the live state. No cheat is ever 100% safe.
